Alexander City escaped inmate captured | Crime
ALEXANDER CITY, AL (WSFA) - It only took authorities a few hours to capture an escaped Talladega inmate.
On Thursday, December 6th at around 1:35 p.m., Inmate Joseph Rainey could not be located after an institutional count and search of the Alexander City Community Based Facility.
Rainey was captured Thursday evening at a retail store in Alexander City after family members alerted authorities to his whereabouts.
Rainey is serving a two-year sentence from charges in Talladega County as a youthful offender.
