The Huntingdon baseball team rallied to beat Point University 8-7 in 10 innings on Wednesday night.
It was the Hawks’ 14th straight win at Posey Field. With three road games remaining this weekend, Huntingdon (28-9) closes the regular season with an 18-1 record at home this season.
In Wednesday’s win, Trammell DeJarnett scored on a wild pitch in the bottom of the ninth inning to tie the game 7-7 and Caleb Astin drew a bases-loaded walk to score Grant Brown in the bottom of the 10th for the win.
The Hawks, who played a total of 20 players in the game, built a 5-0 lead early before falling behind 7-6 in the eighth inning. In the bottom of the ninth, Cameron Lewis singled with one out and DeJarnett came in to run for Lewis.
