Arrested and charged with two (2) warrants for Unlawful Distribution of a Controlled Substance, two (2) warrants for Conspiracy to Commit a Controlled Substance Crime and (6) outstanding warrants through Alexander City Police Department along with additional arrest charges were Trafficking in Cocaine, Possession of Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana 1st, Possession of Imitation Drugs and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

On July 19, 2012 the Tallapoosa County Narcotics Task Force along with the Crime Interdiction Task Force, Alexander City Housing Authority, Tallapoosa County Sheriff Department, Alexander City Police Department and New Site Police Department, executed a search warrant at a residence in Alexander City.

During the search investigators confiscated approximately 391 grams of marijuana, 75 grams of cocaine and 20 Ecstasy pills. The Task Force also seized $2,517 in cash and two vehicles. The search warrant was the climax of several months of investigations and surveillance into the distribution of illegal narcotics from this area.

All suspects were transported to the Tallapoosa County jail without incident.

The investigation into the possession and distribution of illegal narcotics is ongoing in Tallapoosa County.
